After a quick skim of the document it looks to me like they are trying to change

the name of the kangaroo court and to ensure that even if the doctor is

exonerated they can still restrict his or her practice.

I think it will be found tomorrow morning that the opening

procedures will start, but will end very quickly and everything will be

adjourned. There is so much wrong with what the GMC have done and the way they

have gone about this. It is questionable whether or not they have followed all

their own procedures. I believe they have not. They are in too much of a rush

as I see things and have probably shot themselves in the foot for the time

being. This case is likely to be adjourned and set for another date to enable the

GMC to get their house in order. However, we will wait and see.

Apparently, the GMC call all of those of us who 'follow' Dr

Skinner, 'The Skinnerettes'. I am proud to be a Skinnerette. They really

wouldn't want to know the name I call them!

I simply don't have time to read it all but, it seems, there are to be changes

to how Fitness To Practise hearings etc are conducted...
