Hi

You may just have increased too quickly. I was told to start on 30mg/half grain

, and then increase by 15mg/quarter of a grain every 10 days I think. I know

the increase was only a quarter at a time - i think going up by half in a week

is a bit much too soon.

You may even need to take it slower still?

Have you read the document in the files about how to treat with NDT?

When I increased the dose on week 2 to half a grain morning and half a grain inthe afternoon, I started to get Hyperthyroid symptoms (Fast beating Heart etc).I am quite sure that this is down to Adrenal Fatigue so I have ordered NAE totake and plan to follow the advice given on this forum ie stop Thyroid Meds for7 days etc.I am determined to continue with the 'Thiroyd' NDT following the improvements inmy feet and hands.

Hello ,

Yes, good plan.... in addition it would help your adrenals to also take supplements like a good Vit B-complex, 180-200 iu Selenium and Vit C (should be upped gradually to bowel tolerance).... and also look into the possibility of Magnesium deficiency (because of your palps).

I agree with your decision to stick with NDT. Just take it slowly. Everybody is an individual, but I find it works best for most people to up the NDT about every 4 weeks by another ½ grain....

Best wishes,

Dr Jacques Hertoghe talks about starting Armour on this video:

about 7 minutes in....

looks like 15mg increase every 7-10 days....but everyone's different.

Sorry I don't mean to muddy the water by posting different increase schedules, I

would just go slow like suggests (possibly 1/4 grain, not 1/2 though

but see how you feel, and I suggest keeping a journal of how you're feeling).

There's no rush? Though i think people start to feel better and then think

more, sooner, is better...also, sometimes people have other deficiencies like

b12 or ferritin that need correcting...
