Guest guest
Hi everyone! My name is hayley and i'm very glad to be here i can tell you .I am 38 y.o and i have 3 lovely children and a (kind of) supportive partner!have been ill for 22 YEARS.Yup thats right. And you guessed it not one single nhs doc up until now has been able to tell me what it is (although some of them have tried and so i've laboured under the mis-diagnoses of M.E for many years).I'm relieved i now know what it is but also now fully aware of the long (and difficult)road ahead.I am hypothyroid and i strongly suspect i also have weak adrenals as i have every single symtom of both (and then some..)My main symtoms are awful foggy/fuzzy head, mental sluggishness and forgetfulness, depression, bad pmt(heavy periods)inability to cope with stress, having to adapt my life all over the place in order to 'appear' normal, lack of stamina, cant 'get going' till midday, struggle to wake in the morns, low blood sugar ('blank' out if dont eat properly)thin dry hair, coarse dry skin,k.p(keratosis pilaris),dark circles under eyes, and feeling cold all the time.I also have weird neck related issues like this funny thing happens with my voice sounding tight and i'm always having to take deep breaths in to 'open' my throat?? very weird, but not that much of a problem really.I'm looking forward to finally after all these years getting some helpful and honest answers and i suppose a bit of friendly support aswell :)i'm looking forward also to being able to help others if i can and just having a friendly place to come when i'm low and trying to take the next step forward. Ps- Are we aloud to say where we are from as i would love to get to know some others in my area, especially other mums? bye for now, hayley XX
