Many thanks for posting this , I have alot in common with and her

story gives me hope, one piece of information I can't see is if she continued

dosing her 30mg HC as usual? i.e 4hrly from waking for the day.

I am desperate to try this method and have read your book twice, it's an

absolute god send and given me such direction, I was struggling along aimlessly

trying to get the right dose, but am now being alot more methodical about it

(keeping a detailed log). Still not quite there with the T3 dose hence holding

off starting the circadian method. I also have one of the eternal colds doing

the rounds, so that seems to be masking how things are going at the moment.

How far back into the " window " did you have to go before you saw a significant

improvement in your waking? I always wake tired, unrefreshed and with a

headache, typically feeling better by the evening (classic adrenal).

Thanks

Sandie.

help some people to regulate their own adrenal glands and reduce or remove

adrenal support (hydrocortisone in this case - a reduction from 30 mg to only 5

mg and hopefully zero in the future).

is no minimum level of T3 that is required. I believe that many people are

over-dosing on T3 through bad advice or insufficient knowledge.

they have no fundamental adrenal damage or hypopituitarism. Many people simply

have a form of secondary adrenal insufficiency due to a lack of T3 in the

adrenal tissues when the adrenals attempt to produce the highest amount of

cortisol in the day. The Circadian T3 Method is a very valuable technique and

although it may not work in all cases, it works in a great many and as such it

is often well worth trying.

Hi Sandie,

is on 5 mg of HC now and hopes to come off it altogether soon. I'm not

sure what she was on to begin with. Lots of people are doing this slightly

differently and we are kind of inventing this as we go along. :)))

She weaned slowly gradually taking little bits of her HC.

In terms of the main cortisol production window most people don't get a lot of

response from one hour earlier than get up time. A small number do see a

response from 1.5 hours. It is in the 2-4 hour type range that the biggest

effects occur and this generally needs 10-30 mcg with the majority needing 15-25

mcg of T3.

The best way is the 'scanning' approach outlined in the book. The initial T3

dose taken at 1.5 hours earlier than get up then move it back half an hour every

few days or week or so - with enough time to evaluate. If this isn't enough

repeat with a slightly larger T3 dose.

You need to know your adrenals are not totally knackered - no 's or they

won't respond. Hypopituitarism also (although rare) will prevent this method

from working.

Lots and lots of people are using this now with T4/T3, NDT and just T3 - it is

being applied in very creative ways and will help many people get off HC and

other adrenal support.

I sometimes don't visit regularly so please post a message and then email me

with the link to the message and I'll respond.

Best wishes,

>
