Guest guest
Hi Hannah Here is a list of the ingredients of Nutri Adrenal Extra. These do not contain adrenaline. Your production of cortisol first thing in the morning is very low, and you must be feeling very tired with this. It should be at it's highest in the reference range at this time to help you get through the daily chores. Then it drops below the bottom of the reference range again during the afternoon and is only really normal at mid-day and mid-night. You need to take high doses of vitamin C (3/4000mgs) daily to help with absorption, Siberian Ginseng, take calcium and magnesium. Add unrefined sea salt to your diet. Take Vitamin E and B Complex that has a high B6 and pantothenic acid content. Add liquorice root extract to your dietary supplement regimen and combining unrefined carbohydrates with protein and oils . Life style changes should be changed too to get the stress out of your life. What were the results of your DHEA when you had the 24 hour adrenal stress profile. Your levels might be low and you would need to add 25mgs DHEA into the mix. Luv - Sheila Ingredients Each tablet typically provides: Vitamin C (as Ascorbic Acid) Vitamin B1 (Thiamin HCl) Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin) Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide) Vitamin B5 (d-calcium Pantothenate) Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine HCl) Magnesium (Citrate) Zinc (Ascorbate) Chromium Picotinate Bioflavonoids Choline Bitartrate Adrenal tissue concentrate Pituitary tissue concentrate All tissue concentrates are of bovine source from New Zealand. 150mg 20 mg 20 mg 20 mg 60 mg 20 mg 75 mg 3mg 40ug 40mg 20mg 200mg 15mg Tableted with: DiCalcium Phosphate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Silicon Dioxide, Stearic Acid, Magnesium Stearate, Caramel Hi Sheila, I'm willing to try the NAX and get up to a good dosage and see if this helps. Having spent 1 1/2 years on Isocort and it helping only marginally I'm not really wanting to go down that road again. Is there any danger with NAX that it may raise my already high pulse - does it have adrenaline in it? If you didn't know anything else about me other than the most recent saliva results 8.8 (12 - 22) 7.7 (5.0 - 9.0) 1.9 (3.0 - 7.0) 1.2 (1.0 - 3.0) is NAX what you would suggest for my adrenals in their current state? Guest guest
Thanks Sheila that's very helpful. I'm due to have a urinary cortiol test through my GP next week, would starting NAX intefere with that, it doesn't contain cortisol though. My DHEA before I started Isocort 18 months ago were very good but I expect taking the Isocort has pushed my DHEA levels down, here they are: 0.38 (0.4 - 1.47) 1.53 (2.0 - 6.0) Would supplementing 25mg DHEA every day adversely affect my female hormones in any way. Is it safe to take and how long would I need to take it for? As you can see the results are not TOO low, would 25mgs be too much? Guest guest
Also do you recommend a certain brand of DHEA that is good?
