Interpretation of thyroid results please

A friend has asked me for thoughts on her results - she's hypothyroid, but her

levels won't stabilise and she's still having all the hypo symptoms despite

being on levo.

Her doctor is - shock horror! - actually listening to her, I've told her about

the vit/min tests and she's working on that, and the GP has just sent bloods off

to test for thyroid antibodies.

Only got the most recent results, T4 seems high to me but I am not so good at

the conversion interpretation side of things and results on meds.

So, results from this week:

TSH 0.01 (0.40 - 4.00)

T4 23.5 (10.3 - 24.5)

T3 4.98 (2.6 - 7.03)

She's been on levo for 15 months, started at 50mcg, increased to 100mcg, then

gradually to 150mcg, and now back down to 100mcg.

Dr has done a full blood count but so far nothing else that I'm aware of, I

think the thyroid levels are being retested next month along with D3.

Hi ,her T4 is to high and the T3 to low, not sure why.! someone will know i `m sure, possible a conversion problem or may be some thing a little more complicated . Angel
