Guest guest
Hello i have been to see Dr Peatfield (and he is a lovely warm gentleman) as i have never been well on thyroxine(12 years now) (panic attacks, anxiety and lightheadedness) i have had a saliva test and this shows low adrenal insufficiency, underhis recommendations i am to stop my throxine for 10 days and then start NAX i have reduced my dose from 100mg to 75ms and the lightheadedness and anxiety has got much worse since doing so, will i be able to start the NAX now as i dont know if i will be able to reduce it further without becoming much worse with these symptoms, thank you to all who reply in advance x

Guest guest
> Hi all i started taking NAX yesterday only half monrning and lunch but i am finding i can taste them in my mouth (also when i burp is this normal and does it go away in time thanks for any replies Hi Theresa, Is it possible that you might have too little stomach acid? That could cause those symptoms and would prevent nutrients (and thyroid hormone for that matter) from being properly absorbed and it is a very common occurrence with us hypos - please read http://dshedu.com/HowTo/Betaine/ with best wishes,
