Guest guest
Welcome Amy! Glad to hear you are taking the time to educate yourself on the decision, no matter what choice you make! That is what it is all about! I am a 28 SAHM of 11 mo. dd, . I am originally from ND however we are living in NYC now!!! Huge change!! Anyway, welcome and just a couple good sources of info.: Dr. Mendelsohn (he has several books -How to raise a healthy child in spite of your doctor - is a great book and only touches briefly on vaccinations if I remember correctly. Mothering Magazine (great attachment parenting type magazine) The editor also has 2 books (1 on vaccination ) (1 generally parenting book). I personally love the magazine and have the parenting book. The vax. book I ordered for my brother's old girlfriend who is trying to educate herself on this now (I haven't read it yet). Her dd was given the first vax in the hospital without her knowing. And her baby had some eratic breathing which scared both her and her mother. (Of course, Dr. said it was a coincidence when he finally admitted that the baby had been given a shot.) But even though I haven't seen it yet, after reading any of her editorials or looking through the Magazine, I am sure you would agree that it is very well written and thoroughly researched! Hope these help! Guest guest
Hi Kim, I am from ND too! I lived primarily in Bismarck, from ages 6-18. What part are you from? I lived in CA for 11 years, and now live in Colorado.
