Guest guest
Finally got the reference ranges. The letter to the surgery worked! I don't understand most of these, and not sure a lot are relevant as they are not what I asked for. I also asked for transferrin saturation % ( " we don't do that unless your ferritin levels come back high " ), copper and zinc, but these weren't done). Would appreciate advice. (I have a liver function test on a regular basis, as it's been a bit haywire for quite a few years... the result here is lower than last time, so heading in the right direction) ALT/SGPT serum level 40 iu/L (10 – 36) (High) Gamma GT 67 iu/L (5 – 35) (High) Bilirubin 10 umol/L (< 21) Alkaline phosphatase 57 iu/L (30 – 130) Total protein 73 g/L (60 – 80) Albumin 46 g/L (35 – 50) Sodium 143 nmol/L (133 – 146) Creatinine 50 umol/L (44 – 80) Corrected serum calcium 2.21 nmol/L (2.05 – 2.55) Urea 4.7 nmol/L (2.5 – 7.8) Magnesium 0.73 nmol/L (0.7 – 1.0) Ferritin 26 ug/L (13 – 150) I know this is still way too low, but it was 18 last September when I first started taking Spatone – taking 2 sachets a day.
