Blood test results - advice needed

Hello Sheila and co.

Just received my blood test results, as follows:-

TSH 3.44 (range .35 - 3.3)

T4 14

Sodium 138 (range 137-144)

Potassium 4.3

I have loads of other test results too, if any one thinks they may be helpful, I

can post them, but do not have all reference ranges, could get them if really

needed though.

Needless to say Dr think TSH 3.44 is fine, she would be alarmed if >10. Told her

about USA and ongoing discussion on net regarding reference range. When pressed

she though maybe redo in 6 months, because you can get odd high readings! (or

odd low ones would be likely too, would they not?)

I was originally complaining of fatigue, lack of oomph. dizziness, weight gain

even though exercising regularly, loss of brain function, you know the sort of

thing, so she suggested propranalol for anxiety, (although had told her that I

avoid anxiety at all costs, it makes me too ill), which I said I would look up,

and it makes you fatigued, dizzy etc..so definitely not going there.

As I have a problem with adrenaline, nasty reaction to it, also mentioned this

to doc, no reaction at all, methinks 24 hour saliva test maybe called for. Will

order it soon, as had hydro-cortisone cream a couple of weeks ago.

I need to order adrenal support stuff, which type would be best, the extra or

otherwise?. Will also put salt into food for a little while, normally do not

eat salt,except for crisps.

I also have the puppilary flicker, cannot get going in the morning or to sleep

at night.etc. etc. Mentioned this to doc also,

Just realised that the iron (Haemoglobin) levels not in the upper end of the

range either, also tests show I am dehydrated (chloride high) So ferritin for

iron, yes?

She said all tests are OK and that I will not gain anything from them with

regards to supplements etc. I have already worked out that I need iron and salt,

let alone thyroid supps. Would you, if you were I, go for a thyroid support or

an Erfa type approach.

I can afford to buy some stuff, just cannot carry on feeling so rubbish.

Of course no prescription is available, so what options are best?.

I am a responsible adult, and now need to take that responsibility for my own

health, after all, I am the only one who knows how it feels to be me. Fairly

rotten.

Any advice would be gratefully received. Please!!

Thanks in advance
