, how on earth did you even manage to do this very specific

diet if you are vegan. I would have thought it was just about impossible. What

did you eat that was 500 calories, and how did you do the two initial days of

loading with good fats. If this was not done, the diet wouldn't work. As for

bread, that is an absolute NO NO! This is one diet that you must not break the

rules. Perhaps you need something else. Lots of fruit and veg have high levels

of sugar too and the veg. and fruit that you are allowed to eat on the diet has

been chosen specifically.

This diet works for a lot of people who are hypothyroid, but it

will never work for somebody who doesn't follow the instructions - the first

being that all contemplating this route must first read Dr. Simeon's Book - 'Pounds

and Inches' so they fully understand the whole process and where they will find

any questions they have will be answered.

Here is the USA the HCG diet is the biggest

diet to do right now. I was wondering if anyone did this diet after their

thyroid was working right and if they were successful?

I tried the diet 5-6 times but failed everytime of course I am hypothyroid so

after I got off of the 500 calories a day I gained all the weight back

extremely quickly despite eating gluten free and Vegan. So, I can eat a massive

amount of food without a lot of calories because fruit and vegetables do no

thave very many calories. Think veggie soup 50-100 calories

bananas, oranges, blackberries

gluten free bread (small slices 40 calories)

etc.

So again I was just curious if this worked for people after they got their

thyroid working.

Fruit may not have many calories but it has fructose. I would suggest reading

the Paleo Solution or Primal Blueprint instead.

I did do the diet exactly as protool. I have only been Vegan for a year. I

went to a dr for help with the diet and they did no follow it exactly so I quit

them and did it on my own so I could follow it to the t. I am a very by the

book type of person. The last time I did the diet I did it vegan using a RAW

vegan protien drink that others who are vegan used on the diet. I found out

about my food allergieswhile doing the diet. I only knew about gluten before.

Then I went and got tested after the 3rd time on diet and found lots of food

allergies then did diet with foods allowed on diet and I was not allergic to and

then found out I was allergic to beef too. So then I went and tried it again

with alowed foods. Then I went vegan and I failed everyime I tried that diet.

I am assuming/hoping itis because of extreme hypothyroidism and my metbolism is

just that extremely slow. I end up having 1200-1500 calories a day and gained

50lbs in a matter of 4months.
