I've been reading quite a lot on the site, but feel really boggled by it all!

Can I ask some questions please?

1. Are there doctors who I can see who will prescribe for someone who is within

the " normal range " (just) without a referral from a GP? My GP is useless and

I'm too ill to deal with changing him at the moment!

Either NHS or Private.

2. Who are the best private doctors - I know about Dr Skinner, but not sure if

he's seeing people or not - and I think he needs GP referral.

3. Can you buy natural throid without a prescription, and if so, where?

4. What is the lowest dose you can get? Is it in tablet or capsule form? If

tablet, can you cut in half to get smaller dose?

5. Does natural thyroid (Erfa etc) contain T4 and T3? At what ratio?

6. Has anyone here attempted to treat themselves without a doctor, or is that

too risky?
