Guest guest
I don't want to be controversial on here but I really could not sign such a petition to 'Save the NHS from privatisation'. Firstly, our experiences with our youngest child has shown that the NHS really does need some sort of reform, it it didn't then we as a family would not have to be seeking treatment privately (we are a low-income family so this is not through choice). Secondly, without getting into the intracies of the bill I do not see it as 'privatisation' - I think this is a political way of looking at the reforms promoted by apponents. We keep hearing how the NHS is free - this is just not the case, (unless you do not work) - our taxes prop the system up. I think a light needs shining onto how the NHS works and should not be 'saved' in its present form. Just speaking from our own (disappointing) experiences here.
