sara, Weed writes in her book " Healing Wise " that seaweeds (kelp

being the exception, I'm guessing) are wonderful nourishers of breast

milk. Dulse specifically is very high in digestible protein (25%), iron,

potassium, calcium, magnesium, vitamins A and C. It's also a great

source of B vitamins (including B12 and folic acid.) As far as co-ops

go, we belong to Good Foods Co-op in Lexington,KY; I'm pretty sure

there's a guide to other co-ops in the area at the store - I'll check it

out tomorrow and let you know if there's anything promising near

Cleveland! By the way, I'm completely sympathetic to the financial woes

of eating organic - my husband & I both work part time at our co-op and

the generous discount is the only thing which allows our growing family

to eat so well. Good luck with everything! -gretchen
