Guest guest
Niki, make sure that your levels of iron, transferrin saturation%, ferritin, vitamin B12, vitamin D3, magnesium, folate, copper and zinc levels are where they should be within the reference range. If any of these are low in the range, you need to supplement them with whatever is low, because no amount of thyroid hormone replacement can be fully utilised at the cellular level. Ask your GP to check these for you. Also, answer the questions in the three medical questionnaires in our FILES SECTION thyroid treatment/files/ and see how you score. Are you taking high doses of vitamin C (2/3000mgs daily) and 200mcgs Selenium with food, plus zinc, vitamin B complex etc.? Luv - Sheila Just a bump and an add-on to the first question. On Tuesday my 3 weeks at the 1 grain dose will be up and I'll go to 1.5 grains. BUT - my fatigue has returned a fair bit this week, I'm struggling with the dog walks again which is upsetting me and them! Should I stick it out for the full 3 weeks or up the dose tomorrow?
