Guest guest
Hi , Interesting what you say about the mucin oedema. Since being on T3 only I have noticed many improvements not least that my face is more defined again with less puffyness around the eyes and jaw line - I used to have an almost waxen mask first thing in the mornings which would generally calm down a little through the day. I did post some snaps on here in the photo album when my face was quite bad. I think that my eyes have suffered and I still have quite baggy eye lids which I would love to get rid of some time - lottery win permitting!! But my cheekbones have definately come back again. I am not a vain person but it is an awfull condition - thick body and thin hair - when we would like to be more the opposite! Interestingly, when I did have a look at eye lid reduction surgery notably one of the warnings is that surgeons will be reluctant if you are diagnosed with hypothyroidism in case more fluid leaves the area at some point and leaves you with sunken eyes. Would love to here more on this subject - we all hate puffy right!? Stacey
