Guest guest Posted March 1, 2012 Report Share Posted March 1, 2012 Hi, I just wondered if anyone takes Westhroid and if it is possible that it is not effective for me. I started just last week, but today, had an almighty crash with one of my worse symptoms returning. I used to have almost panic attacks over something totally irrational that had entered my head, sometimes quite dark thoughts. This symptom did vanish after starting T4 and only came back mildly if I needed a dose increase, but today it hit out of the blue. I wondered if I may not be fully breaking down the Westhroid as it seems quite tough and tastes awful to chew. It will not dissolve.
