Guest guest
Hello 2 I am so pleased that at last, you have been given a diagnosis for your symptoms and hope now that you will find relief in your treatment. Sjogrens disease is more common in patients with autoimmune thyroid disease and many people suffer this without ever knowing such a disease exists. You can read more about this here http://thyroid.about.com/b/2005/08/03/majority-of-women-unaware-of-sjogrens-syndrome.htm I am so pleased that you have found the advice and support on this forum to be good and that it has helped you so far, but remember, we are always here if you need us, so please don't loose touch with us completely. Good luck , and I sincerely hope you get all the help and support you need elsewhere. Luv - Sheila I must thank you all for the tremendous advice and support you have given me. Although I now know I don't have a thyroid problem, your advice about blood tests and supplements has helped me tremendously. Your support has helped me to to keep questioning my doctors about my health problems, to teach me where to look and to realise that that I am not depressed etc. or if I am depressed its with good reason. If my symptoms ever start showing signs of thyroid problems (which they may do, its a possibility with my condition) I will be back. I have been told I have Sjogrens Syndrome. Just waiting for Rheumatologist referrals etc. Again, my many heartfelt thanks for your help and support, I wish you all luck, strength and fortitude in your various fights against your medical problems and doctors.
