Guest guest
Snippet>>>>> Hi Caz,> > No, not all hypothyroid patients suffer from bradycardia (low heartbeat)> ... I don't. I have got Hashimoto's and my heartbeat is at rest> between 80 and 90, much higher under any kind of stress, physically or> mentally.Oh right, thankyou I`ve read Dr Skinners book, so i must have read that bit!! Doh!> Good luck with your appointment on 27th in Cambridge and fingers> crossed that you will get diagnosed and treated. Please remember to ask> for hard copies of all your test results Thankyou, i hope i get diagnosed! My last TSH in Nov 2011 was 4.2, but dr says its all fine, i`ve heard this professor has treated someone with a TSH of 3.5, and he does use T3. I`m still not going to get my hopes up too much tho.I`ve had the TPO & TgAB tests, they were very low at 12. I`m hoping they dont do the bloods there and then to be honest, firstly i hate blood tests, and can pass out, so id rather go to the GP as i feel more comfortable there (they lay me down), sounds stupid i know. And secondly my appointment is at 2pm, and i`ve heard the TSH drops during the day > Good luck and best wishes,> >

Guest guest
> Thankyou for that Chris. I`m just worried that if i do go on medication, > it will make my heart faster, i already get palpitations, i worry about > things like that. > Caz I'm on NDT, been on it 8ish weeks now and my heart rate has always been fast - around 84 resting, normally although in the past it's been as high as 100! I'm just horribly unfit The meds haven't made any difference to it - the only time I've had palpitations is when I upped the dose too fast once, I had them at night. No trouble otherwise.
