Guest guest
Sounds like something else may be going on Stephie that you have not yet recognised. Again, go through the attached document and be sure that you are not suffering with any one of these. I personally think you probably need more thyroid hormone but your body is unable to tolerate any more and you need to find the reason why this is. Luv - Sheila Recently though I am not sleeping, heart racing at night, mild chest pain, face breaking out in small spots, cough I cant shake, horse voice after talking only a short time. Of course permanent urine infections as I mentioned before, going for scope inspection friday. Did not get infections on NAX but must be something in it that makes my belly swell. It did do this from me first taking it 3 years ago but I was desperate to get well so kept trying, every time Dr P wanted me to up the dose belly got uncomfortably tight. Should I just up the NA? Is there NAX in a different form? Only getting a resonable sleep (6 hours)evry third night. Feel rough on 50 mcg of lactose free thyroxine but quickly get over replaced and a bit toxic on 75 mcg it seems. Cant take more that 5mcg of T3 either? Help, 1 of 1 File(s) WHY THYROID HORMONE REPLACEMENT MAY NOT BE WORKING FOR YOU.doc
Guest guest
Yes Sheila I am thinking amalgam fillings but it will cost a fortune to have them removed, now that I look I have more than a few and a couple of double teeth which are more metal than tooth, will probably mean crowns? Why is it all so difficult?? NHS dentists should never have been told to use the stuff!! Luv Stephie Stephie that you have not yet > recognised. Guest guest
What's even more worrying Stephie, is having the amalgam fillings removed. You need to ask yourself whether you would be better keeping them or risk upsetting your adrenals so much through their removal, as has happened to poor Marie. Since she had her amalgam fillings removed just a few weeks ago, she has now gone so far down hill she doesn't know what to do, with a TSH over shooting up over 100 and T4 and T3 hardly registering. She is unable to take thyroid hormone other than a very low dose of thyroid extract. And, this was done by a top professional in the field of dentistry. If anybody needs their amalgam fillings removed, I would first recommend they ensure that their adrenals are functioning well and able to cope. Guest guest
I would agree with Sheila, I opted to not have any more amalgam, and have replacements as necassary with white. not only does this reduce the shock to the body, but spreads the cost! But then until something happens you don't know how badly if at all the amalgam is affecting you. Guest guest
Thanks for that Sheila, Poor Marie, I will abandon that idea, I am so easily set backwards again I would be sure to have an adverse reaction, lets face it coffee upsets me, monosodium glutamate, wheat, lactose, dare not risk alcahol either.
