I have to go on the anti-candida diet & am a bit worred about keeping the

bowels moving as I rely heavily on fruit + (being strict gluten free) to keep

regular, or will constipation improve when the system is candida free? Any tips

please?

Thanks

Helene

Hi Helene,

You do not say whether you are embarking on a treatment program first.

ie: Flucozanole for 3 weeks running, or Oregano oil every day.

Treating candida with diet alone is a long process and a lot of people give up.

With regard to keeping regular Psyllium seeds are really good for this and are

sugar free. Make sure you drink a lot of water with them

though. I think the pure seeds are better than the capsules that you can buy as

the capsules contain the ground down seeds and so are

not as effective.

As you are gluten free have you not tried Genius multiseed loaf,

its the nearest to an ordinary loaf I have seen and is crammed full of seeds in

flaxseeds which are also good to add to you diet as

a means of keeping you regular.

Some fruits have a lot less sugar than others, apples are relatively low.

There are articles in the files section on candida, have a read it might fill in

the gaps.

Kind regards,

Tina

Psyillium husks from Holland and Barrat.... They are great at adding roughage

they are priced at £10 for a big bottle.

Thanks for replies

I've ordered Flucanazole from the net - not arrived yet. I assumed I will still

need to do the diet for 3 months afterwards?

Will try psyllium or bowel build if I get desperate.

Thanks

Helene
