Guest guest
HI SHEILA I am going back to my GP on Wednesday, as I feel that I am still suffering from Hypothyroidism. I can tell by my voice which sounds husky. My optician has confirmed that blurred vision is not a problem with my vision, but it can be caused by a migraine which in turn can be caused by the thyroid artery that runs up the neck, and like others have experianced pain in the neck, but a Doctor will do an Xray, so all that can be seen is arthritas. Arthritas is something most of us have, but do they ever consider the thyroid as a cause of pain. If the thyroid is not treated properly constipation comes along (I wish there were some Pomelo's). This in turn will not help with a prolapse and have also been having some spotting of blood as a result. My GP even tried to veer me away from VITAMIN C. I have already increased my T3 by half a 25mcg pill, and will continue to increase it gradually, so I am going back to tell him all this. What I would like to know is if somebody with Hypothyroidism does pick up a bug, does this make the thyroid worse, and more Hypothyroid, and should you increase the T3, as in the past I was told not to increase it.Could picking up a bug bring on this muscle pain which I am sure is connected with the thyroid, and not Polymyalgia. My GP also told me that I did not have Hashimotos, so how can I tell which type of Hypothyroidism that I have, and which test would be needed.
