Add some coconut and coconut oil to your 'fudge' and myabe some crushed nuts.

Can't afford either the hybaric oxygen chamber or the Scharffen

Berger brand cocoa powder but have found other brands to give good response

I find that SAM-e also helps me with dopamine.

Also, I flood my body with catecholamines, in the form of Scharffen

Berger pure cocoa powder. No sugar at all. I melt butter into it. I

eat it like fudge. So I may be ramping up precursors to dopamine.

And, that is why I am probably still alive. I've written often here over

the past five or six years about SAM-e's importance to my improvement.

Now, if I could only get my brain to work on a deeper level again. Used to

do research and could synthesize and make leaps of intuition to good use.

By the way, I first learned about coconut oil, cocoa butter and cocoa when I

was in the hospital recovering from cowpox for a month. A foreign born doc

taught me about them.

Hey that's an idea, my coconut oil insteda of butter, would be

healthier. Thanx for that idea.

The reason I get Scharffen Berger is I tolerate it well. Many of the

unsweetened cocoa's are dutched or have additives. I cannot tolerate

Ghiradelli (sp?). And it is available here in NY...I hadn't looked on

the web for cheaper sources. The other reason is that when tested,

Scharffen-Berger was one of the top cocoas in terms of healthy

flavanoids. There is a lot of good research on cocoa's beneficial

effects, including on blood vessels, staving off heart disease etc.

I have cocoa butter here, because I was goinig to make my own

essential oil capsules (which I have not done. But I should mention

that a very nice and potent eucalyptus oil I had, served its purpose

in another way. My stupid building, which for 18 months now has been

undergoing demolition/construction en route to being ahigh end luxury

building, and is now half luxury (marble lobby, chandeliers) and half

slum (my hallway is a wreck of hanging wires and half-done

construction) seems to have gotten a moth infestation in the basement.

I can smell the napthalene whenever they go down there. Somehow a moth

or two found its way into my closet and had a field day with my silk

camisole...and each night, a new moth appeared, one time a baby moth).

Well being chemically sensitive I had to find a natural solution.

I smelled all my oils, and decided on the eucalptus--and a google

search later revealed this was the right choice for moths. I soaked a

cotton ball and left it in the closet for about an hour a day (the

smell filled the whole apartment!) I haven't seen another moth since.

I don't know if it killed larvae eggs or the moths simply fled.

Anyway, I am going to try my extra virgin coconut oil in the powder

tomorrow. Why did the doctor mention this combo to you?

I wish I would become very rich. I would create a nonprofit and loan

out hyperbaric chambers to folks who needed them.

My friend and I have a home hyperbaric chamber. She has Hep C, and I...who

knows what? She was starting to get liver damage and some chirrosis. Her last

test was performed a month or so ago. Her viral load has increased dramatically

as the chamber isn't good for viruses, BUT...Her liver function test is

remarkably better, the damage is reversing, and all this with an increasing

viral load. It should be the opposite, and the only difference is the HBOT. We

think we're healing her liver with it which is counterintuitive considering how

bad the load of virus is getting. This is anecdotal remember, but we're

convinced.

I know of someone who avoided a liver transplant with hyperbaric (clinic).

She should be taking a lot of glutathione, IV, etc, and precursors.

Glutathion einhibits hep C. Also AHCC--that mushroom complex product,

good for hep c.

I had brain fog, it possibly was my first symtom (i.e. I would get

into the car and be driving, and completely forget where I was going.

I forgot so many appointments like parent teacher meetings etc, not to

mention simple things like the time I was supposed to pick up my

daughter from school, or even words while forming a sentance)

It seemed to come and go, I feel that ivermectin helped me with brain

fog, I noticed golfingnut saying that as well....though I have heard

of others who have had the opposite reaction with it) I also started

taking a mineral supplement and that was the last of the brain

fog....it sounds like what you are doing for it is awesome frito!!!

I dont have any good tips, especially when what you are doing sounds

like a really excellent treatment plan for it.

all my best

Hi Z. I was trying to get together a bunch of little things we do for this so a new person suffering from this might have some good choices to choose from.

Hey Z....it has been resolved for some time now. I just wanted to get some ideas together for new posters. There seem to be many ways to address it, but no easy way of finding it. I was hoping more people would participate, but maybe its not something that is important here. Take care Z....frito

It is very important !

I have found myself lately in a state of narcolepsy while driving, never, ever had such an experience before, I found myself suddenly in another driver's lane and waking up, it may have only been seconds, however, enough time to die. This was not once but twice on one of my long distance work assignments.

I first attributed to leaving my car purposefully in very sunny and hot parking lot, then some of my residual spraying chemicals from the past and present in a more enhanced and activated state causing this frightening mental state.

Then I also noticed intermittent memory loss, concentration, listlessness, depression.

I can only relay what I experienced. With all the cleansing, it got really better. But my doc also added egg lecithin specifically to address my issues with brain fog. The amount was 1200 IU capsules, two each up to 2-3 times per day until addressed. I still take 1 capsule per day today. My brain fog resolved after about 3 days of the 2 capsules each 2-3 times per day.

What have others here used that they have found successful? Please post, there are so many effective methods that I have run across. Maybe, I'll just have to go back and try and find some of them.

Very happy you are getting better.....frito

I have experienced these very same things. I actually thought or think I have narcolepsy. I'll feel ok and then this overwhelming grogginess comes over me and I could be sitting up and just go to sleep with my eyes open kind of. I go to gas station and pay for gas and drive away without getting it. Yikes. I was just thinking about this when I woke up wondering what is wrong. Also the depression and lethargy is worse than ever.

Thank you Frito,

This information is very valuable to me as the brain fog I experience

is terrible. It's hard when you have little kids who depend on you. I

can't remember where anything is. Hopefully these suggestions will

help. I think my biggest problem is that I have not tried any internal

cleansing. Thanks again for all of you posts.

Hi Frito,

I too will try these solutions. I lose my glasses every day and today I came down to get into my car and I left the door open all night. Yikes.

Boy I remember doing stuff like that. I would be driving along and I would actually forget where I was going. Wouldn't have a clue as to my mission.

I have a friend who has bad brain fog. Today we were out for a walk and she

could hardly get a sentence out without struggling to find words. She is a

patient of Dr Peatfield's and she is treating her adrenals, thryoid, etc, as

best she can considering she has a serious heart condition and has to be careful

to balance all her various treatments.

My question is: what factors have people found have helped with their brain

fog? Is it to do with poor circulation, low blood sugar or what other factors?

What has made your brain fog worse, and what has made it better?

Thanks,

Miriam

Thanks Sheila for your suggestion and for the useful link. I shall send it to

my friend for her to read.

I don't think it can be for lack of T3 for 2 reasons. Firstly, her blood tests

always show high levels of Free T3 compared to the Free T4, so she must be

converting OK. Secondly when she first started on Armour she was able to diet

and lose 2 1/2 stone without too much trouble, which I think shows the T3 is

getting to the cells.

She does suffer from very serious low blood sugar problems, so I wonder whether

it is related to that? Also, I have just read the webpage you sent a link to.

It says vegetarianism can cause high copper, and she is a vegetarian.
