Guest guest
Hi , I think you may be on to something.I had two of my front teeth 'crowned' 25 yrs ago (i was 19 and my grandmother left me some inheritence when she died and i spent it on having my severly overlapping front teeth fixed by a Harley Street dentist).Alot of my health problems all date back to then and so i've always wondered if something could be wrong...I also had a root canal about 10 yrs later.I think i may try and get hold of my dental notes just like i did my health records from the doctors- i've uncovered alot by doing this.... hayley x > > Hi > Fr some reason everything is seeming clearer I don't know if it's due to the fact I am feeling very level since starting progesterone cream but I can seem to be putting things together that I never thought was related > > 10 years ago. Had all my silver fillings replace for white ones which had approx 7 as always had weak teeth, then I had major problems two years ago I kept getting Infections so i payed a lot of money to have them all done but now two years down the line. Am still experiencing problems which I am not to pleased about as the dentist wants more money but I can not afford anymore on my teeth. He has to do root canal treatment and I'm on antibiotics but ? It's all making sense why I can't take antibiotics as they make me feel I'll people used to say its in my head but I think ey made me hypo and the same was with why I felt so I'll after fillings and treatments I used to be wiped out and emotional again it made me hypo. I have to take my antibiotics don't have that much of an effect as I only have to take them for 5 days. Has anyone any advice how to get through this. > > I just don't know where to go with my teeth as I had crowns but my teeth underneath are braking yet the dentist did not say this would happen so I think I may have a court case on my hands > > x >
Guest guest
Yeah my 2 front crowns just broke off this year also they were lovely too. \i also been reading about the discusting germs that inhabit root canal areas of dead tooth and necrotic tissue \ I now wish I didnt have so many root canals as they harbour lots of nasty bacteria which contribute to chronic disese allegedly. I digress, broken teeth yes, but |i have had low calcium last couple of years too wiht my thyroid (and keyboard dyslexia ) hugz Dawnx > > > > Hi > > Fr some reason everything is seeming clearer I don't know if it's due to the fact I am feeling very level since starting progesterone cream but I can seem to be putting things together that I never thought was related > > > > 10 years ago. Guest guest
Hi, I wonder if it is Thyroid related.... I've had problems for years and have so many root fillings and crowns it's difficult to find a normal tooth. The last couple of root canals haven't been amalgam filled, instead they used a hot rubber solution which fills the tooth and gets rid of any air pockets which bacteria can populate. Teeth which have been root filled become brittle, which is why it's best to have them crowned. If you read Dr Mark Starrs book Hypothyroidism type II he says that teeth clenching is often seen in hypo patients. This gives you headaches and can cause neck ache, but importantly, it's possible to clench so hard that you damage the root of the tooth, and infection (an abcess) sets in. The answer for me, is a hard mouth guard which spreads the load when I clench my teeth whilst sleeping. The guards are very tough, clear plastic, but I manage to bite them.... I get through one every 6 months or so.... x > > Yeah my 2 front crowns just broke off this year also they were lovely too.
Guest guest
hi , in a word yes. when i started to have hypo problems my teeth started to go and i was shocked to find i had to have three out and about seven filled. lack of calstonin or the body not processing calcium properly is to blame.
