Guest guest
Both of your messages came through to the forum n, but this last one is the way to do it as it keeps the Topic Heading in tact, whereas the other message did not. Luv - Sheila Sorry - I am confused now:-) Am I replying to the moderator or the person who asked the question or am I posting on the forum??? The doctor is Dr Peatfield. I guess it's OK to say that because his name is already here? And I am happy for to contact me if she wishes. n > > I have deleted your question giving the doctors name. If the doctor mentioned is in fact someone other than Dr. Peatfield, could you please give the person you are asking who it is permission to contact you privately to answer that. Guest guest
Hi n, yes, you are posting correctly. It sounds as if you are going through a phase where the antibodies are kicking in and giving you symptoms of hypothyroidism. With this disease, you are up and then down, producing too much thyroid hormone and then not producing sufficient. It will be interesting to see what your results show when you get them back from Genova. BTW - are you saying that you are not sure you are posting right because you are not getting any responses. I will send a copy of this message to your private email address, to make sure you get it. I have checked your registration details and see that you opted to receive a 'Daily Digest' where you can get up to 25 messages in just one email. Are you reading through this to check for any responses to your messages? Luv - Sheila Still not sure I'm doing this posting right ... but I hope so. I've got an appointment with doc next week and he's going to take blood for me to send for a Comprehensive Thyroid Assessment from Genova. Does anyone know if this is the best test? In the last year, I've gone from hypothyroid to hyperthyroid (Graves autoimmune) but seem to have a lot of hypo symptoms eg feeling cold, freezing hands, putting on weight... I've regained over a stone of the 2 stone I lost when I first went hyper.
