Guest guest
You could try tissue salts (bought from Holland and Barrett) Calc Phos 3 x per day for two weeks Then Ferr Phos 3 x per day for two weeks Then repeat the cycle. I did this before Christmas. It's meant to kick start the body into absorbing iron. Alternatively it seems as if I am having some success with transdermal iron from www.neemgenie.co.uk. I have had ferritin issues for years, but haven't taken an iron tablet since last September (they do not agree with me at all) and finally my level has reached over 70 (15-150) D > What's the best way to boost your Iron levels without getting something on prescription? Guest guest
Your local health food store will sell good iron supplements. Try Ferrous Fumerate 200mgs daily, twice a day if y our iron levels are very low. Also, type 'foods high in iron' into Google and you will get lists of these up, and concentrate on eating those specific foods. Luv - Sheila Hi all, What's the best way to boost your Iron levels without getting something on prescription? There's no way my GP will prescribe me anything because (as ever!) my ferritin is in range. Thank you! No virus found in this message.
