Guest guest
Hello Stephie I have had this done few yrs back for the same issue you have. At that time I was in overnight as was a full aneasthetic, praps yours is a local as you mention in hopsital for 1-4hrs. My tummy was a bit swollen after as I was told that air is put into the bladder, there was a bit of local pain which paracetomol fixed. Sadly I came out of the hospital with another infection. Because I had suffered endless rounds of UTI infections and copious antibiotics which never kept it at bay - a few years back I decide to research it myself. Since discovering D-Mannose I have never looked back and rarely Ever had a UTI again. It was so successful my GP started reccomending it to her UTI patients! It is a natural product and when I learnt why it worked it made so much sense. I have told endless more folk about it all have had amazing results. If you google Waterfall D Mannose you'll arrive at the correct supplier. Guest guest
Check this out Stephie http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/003903.htm I am not sure whether they use a contrast dye to help with imaging, but I do know that Manda, one of our members, went for a bladder scan, and she was given this without any prior warning, and she had quite a severe reaction to the dye that was used, which I believe was iodine for several days afterwards. You should find out about this before any procedure is started Stephie and make them very aware of your hypothyroid state.
