Guest guest
I just read in a Medical Hypotheses article, " A metabolic basis for fibromyalgia and its related disorders: the possible role of resistance to thyroid hromone " by RL Garrison, PC Breeding that: a possible bio-marker for fibromyalgia (and therefore possible partial thyroid hormone resistance) is hyaluronic acid, because lack of thyroid hormone effect leads to failed inhibition of fibronectin transcription, resulting in high levels of HA. " It is a recent biomarker of choice in research work involving investigation of intracellular thyroid hormone function. " Has anyone here ever had this level tested BEFORE they were placed on T3?
