HI ALL

Have just come back from GP.I went to get the bus, but standing too long caused

such pain in my right groin that I came back for my scooter. My GP is going to

send for the scan report that reported multiples of fibroids.

One of these fibroids was noted some years back when I was on Pimozide, which is

situated on my right side and said to be pedunculated, and is outside the womb,

another smaller one was noted alongside this by my last GP. Could this fibroid

cause pain in the right groin, but in turn widespread muscle pain.

Fibroids can cause excruciating pain in the groin area. My Mum couldn't walk

because of hers, once the operation recovery was over she was walking miles.

HI JULIE

Is it possible that a fibroid causing this pain and I have reached a point of

not being able to walk, could cause pain in other areas which is worse on this

side.

When they also put this Mesh Tape in to hold up the bladder they had to make two

holes on each side of the groin to thread it through. It was already too tight

when it was put in preventing me from spending a penny. This tape in turn gets

embedded in the tissues so must tighten up more.

The other part of the prolapse Rectocele was also repaired at the time, but I

think gave way in 2005. Being constipated does not help there, and along with

the thyroid not being treated properly which in turn causes constipation would

not help.

My GP was OK about me increasing T3 and Vitamin C (no barks).

How do they get at fibroids that are outside the womb especially if there are

multiples of them.

I would not consent to a hysterectomy, as my feelings here are that with having

Hypothyroidism that in turn causes constipation is more likely to cause the

bowel to prolapse even more.

I also feel that tissues are not as strong either.
