Guest guest
It's a good idea and very interesting comments. However, my health has never been good so I doubt it would have helped me very much. Miriam > I posted a simple question on an forum about whether young people should have baseline testing for thyroid hormones and some other important nutrients and hormones when they are well. I got a lot of response to this. So much so that I felt I had to put the comments into a blog post to share with others. I thank the contributors (who remain anonymous) greatly as they made a simple Q & A session extremely valuable. & #8232;: > > http://recoveringwitht3.com/blog/baseline-thyroid-testing-young-people

Guest guest
This is fine , but the question should be put to the Department of Health, the Royal College of Physicians, the British Thyroid Association, all the endocrinologists etc as they are the one's who will decide whether or not such testing would be useful - or not. It doesn't help to have discussions if nothing is done to get such questions asked in the right quarters. Not very well put, but you know what I mean.
