Hi there just a short response but would be willing for you to contact my email address privatley. Like may others on these boards I had been taking Levthyroxine for approx. 12 years. In short was always told I was within range despite at times not feeling that good with various symptoms. Over the last six years muscular skeletal pains increased visited physio for different things was prescribed declofenic which did take away the pain but was not happy taking them. However because of increased problems with my thyroid resorted to self treating eight months ago with NDTand "I HAVE NOT HAD THAT PAIN SINCE" Now there has to be some connection.

Hi Nina,

First of all how kind of you to help your

patient. I must admit chiros and osteos kept me going when I was ill with

similar symptoms.

Not necessarily – I wasn’t referred

to a neurologist – and thyroid meds helped me – I was dislocating –

and pain was so severe I was almost wheelchair bound - I was severely hypermobile

– but thyroid meds got me better although I still have to be careful the

pain has gone.

But Nina be careful – cover yourself in case

there is another issue – although how would these issues be

neurological – just interested if I had gone that route what It would

have been …………..be interested if you have any information,

My neck was bad by the way and the pelvic region – my pelvis had tipped

forward.

It could even be a spinal tumour – she should

go private and see someone who specialises in that region then I think you can

say it would be thyroid and I bet it is part of her problem but might not be

all of the problem – hence caution.

Take a look at this – but I don’t think

it includes lesions ….

Hope this helps

Best wishes
