Guest guest
Hi , I would show these results to your GP and ask for a referral to have the ACTH test done to see if it will give a clue as to your high cortisol secretion when you wake and again at mid-day. Have you been taking any adrenal supplements at all and also, do you have high blood pressure, low levels of potassium, high bicarbonate, high glucose levels or diabetes? These often go hand in hand with those with high cortisol levels. Guest guest
Hi Sheila, I have an appt with GP on Monday and will show him this message. They forgot to do my FT3 test but my FT4 has dropped from 17 to 12 even though i'm taking 0.25 grain more than my last test. I'm not taking any adrenal supps, i was only on a multi vit/mineral supp until recently, tests showed i'm low in the following :- B12, Magnesium, Zinc, Ferritin 43.8 (7-150) so have started taking supplements. Blood pressure always good if a little low. I've not been tested for anything else but liver function test and copper were fine. I did show as being extremely low in eosinophils which funnily enough i remember you saying that indicated high steroids in blood. x > > Hi , I would show these results to your GP and ask for a referral to > have the ACTH test done to see if it will give a clue as to your high > cortisol secretion when you wake and again at mid-day.
