Guest guest
hi richie welcome depending on what you would like to do... i do really suggest on contacting EXMED, they are a relatively small, but more than comprhensive company covering the whole spectrum of medicine throughout the world. i worked for them in Afghanistan, and apart from the odd bump, they were superb, and so much that i wish to continue with them in the near future. the pay is great, they hold exceptional trauma courses and the home managment is more supportive than a millwal supporter, if however you wish to persue a career in the public sector, then contact me offline.... all the best Woody --- howtall74 <howtall74@...> wrote: --------------------------------- Hi everyone My name is Rich and I'm a Royal Marine medic of 5 years, working with the lads down in Poole, Dorset at the moment. Guest guest
Amy welcome. Why are you waiting until FEB 9th? Just curious. Do yourself a favor get yourself a journal so you can write what you eat. How you feel? Which I am assuming not the best right now. I admire you for taking on the journey you are about to take. Being a single mom and a diet all in one. Hopefully it will be a peaceful separation for you and ex hubby and the kids. Thanks so much for the welcome. Tomorrow is my grocery shopping day...i have decided to buy all HEALTHY and good for me foods. And NO JUNK! =o) So then i will begin wednesday. Thanks, but, its already not a peaceful separation. He left and is doing his thing...CONTESTED the child support (We finally go Thursday) and i believe he is with someone now that has other kids. He always did want to take care of someone else's kids. I might not have as much anger towards him...but, he left me before in 1999 and i took him back. Even stuck by him when we found out he has a daughter...i even brought her into our lives (And i even still see her more often than he does) and around christmas time, he refused to give me any money for the kids...i told him i had to ask a church for help with diapers and toys for tots for help with christmas and he said "Thats not my problem". We would have been married 10 years this may. *sigh* Sorry to ramble on about that. Love, Amy xoxo

I previously used Body Flex about a year ago. I was reading on the web site how many people have also used that and they believe life lift brings much better results. Have any of you done the same? Also, do you do any other type of exercise besides this? I know a good diet is a must, but I have about 15lbs to shed. I have been exercising since the begining of the new year, and have only lost about 3. I dont eat much food, but do love my chocolate! Any help or testimonal would greatly be appreciated. Guest guest
Hi and welcome to our little sisterhood family! YA YA!!! I think you're really going to not only see and feel the difference you get from LL. I did the other and there is NO comparison, none what so ever. As for anything else I do, hummmm...LOL I walk, outside when I can, inside on the treadmill otherwise. I have the Windsor Pilaties tapes, I crack myself up when I do these, but they are good. I'm just getting started using a body ball. That's fun, makes me feel like a little kid when i 'play' on it. I also sit on it while at the puter, altho I do go back to a chair eventually. Probably have done and will do other things, but those are what come to mind at this moment. You said you don't eat much food. But what food ARE you eating? You mentioned chocolate, and that's full of the evil whites, sugar and flour. Even eating a little amount, if you're eating things full of those, it really isn't going to help heal your body, nor lose like you want. If you want to let us know what it is you eat, I have no doubt you'll get lots of help, opinions and ideas what works for each of us. We all seem to do different things, because our bodies are different, and what works for one, doesn't for another. There are some of us that try to follow a LC {low carb} WOE {way of eating}. No pressure at all tho, we're just happy to have a new friend. Jump right in and let us get to know you... Blessings, Kiki

Guest guest
Welcome. I'll join in with Kiki -- I doubt that you can lose weight unless you change eating patterns (and the chocolate would be suspect, though there are some fairly decent sugar-free/low carb ones out). I also don't eat a lot, never have -- but I wasn't losing weight -- I had to commit to not snacking (which cut back calories somewhat) before I started losing -- and now I really doubt that I eat more than 700-900 calories each day (hard to calculate when you eat foods like homemade soup). I think the LifeLift exercises make you healthier, shape you up better, give you more energy/stamina, etc. -- but I doubt that they create a fast weight-loss mode (though probably over time they would be enough) -- and I want FAST! Along with LifeLift (which I've modified to what I want to do, i.e., I've picked the exercises from the video that I particularly like and use them, then change the entire routine after a while when that particular set gets too easy. I also do some more stretching exercises (using the bands, ball, or nothing) incorporating the LL breaths. I have made these exercises part of my morning routine -- they are as natural to me now as takig a shower, I just do them.... And I walk a LOT! I try to get a minimum of 10,000 steps each day (in bad weather, this doesn't happen). I also think that a big part of losing weight is committing to whatever eating plan you choose, then sticking with it, only tweaking it as you deem beneficial. And then just keep tweaking until something clicks and you start losing! LOL! That said, 3 pounds in a bit over a month, with no dietary change, is really great! If you continue at this rate, you'll reach your goal before the summer WITHOUT CHANGING YOUR EATING and thus keeping your metabolism high! Good luck, Bonnie new member Just ordered the 3 videos. Guest guest
Hey Welcome. Walking is a great source of exercise. And you live in a good area to do it threw out the year. I myself have to rely on the exercise bike and sansone tapes do to the snow. Another 5 inches last night. Dont forget portions, exercise, and water are on any plan you chose to follow. Start a journal and start making better choices. NHMom to Abby Liz 10/25/94 Anne 7/1/
Guest guest
Hi! ! Glad you chose to change your life! I am in the same boat as you! I started by changing a few things just to start. I quit eating white bread, I only do wheat, I drink skim milk, I use the butter spray instead of butter and no sugar. (that I add like soda, in my coffee) well that worked out great and I have lost 9 pounds but now I am stuck…I need to exercize too but I just cant get motivated.. so this is a great place to be to talk and get inspired by the people in the group!!
