There is a widely held view that once a patient is using cortisol hormone

replacement using HC or other cortisol containing medications that no adrenal

testing may be done. & #8232; & #8232;I have been discussing this with a doctor who

does use adrenal saliva tests with his patients who use HC. I think you'll find

this link very interesting. It suggests a way of gaining additional test data

that may confirm a diagnosis of low or high cortisol levels that has been made

based on symptoms and signs. & #8232; & #8232;

Thanks , this is really useful information. It will help me sort out if my

daughter's cortisol levels are within the normal range.
