Guest guest
I've got all my blood results today. I'm not quite sure what to think. Naturally, all my thyroid related bloods are within normal range but I do understand that doesn't mean all is well. What bothers me most are the results around my Hb which suggest I'm anaemic. This is something I hadn't considered as I don't have periods. (Sorry if TMI). I have no indications that I am bleeding from my gut or anywhere else so this is a bit worrying. Anyhoo, here we go: Free TS4 16 pmol/L Range 12-22 TSH 1.8mu/L 0.27-4.2 Irritatingly, I've just realised that the TS3 and TPO haven't been done despite being told the tests included them. Cortisol 280 mmol/L No range given Haemoglobin 11.7 g/dl Range 11.5-16.5 Haematocrit 0.363 l/l 0.37-5.5 MCH 25.9 pg 27-32 Ferritin 12 ng/mL 13-150 MCV 80.5 fl 80-100 Vit B12 794 This is expected as I am already on cytocobalmine injections. If anything, I think this quite low considering I am on the injections and had one only a few weeks ago. I expected it to be closer to 1000. Folate 5.4 ng/mL 4.6-18.7 Magnesium 0.92 mmol/L 0.7-1 LSH 32 I thought this would be slightly higher considering my age but it's difficult to tell where I am in the menopause as I don't bleed and don't have hot flushes. Any thoughts or advice appreciated, Kath
