Guest guest
Kat - I have forwarded your message to the main thyroid support forum. This particular group is for members to 'Chat' about anything other than thyroid matters, to give a little 'light relief'. Please check the main forum for responses. Luv - Sheila Hi I've just joined this group. My names and I'm 32 years old. I've recently had bloods done to test my pituitary and thyroid function I haven't received the results back from my pituitary tests but I have my results from my thyroid tests. My tsh levels have come back as low 0.23 I think but my T4 and T3 are within normal levels. I'm suffering from many symptoms such as night sweats, mood swings, depression, anxiety, lactating, really tired yet manic I would say my weights increased though not decreased. My doctor says I'm one of her 'interesting' cases! Which is all very well but I am confused and worried. my medical history is a bit odd though I had a very high doses of steroids as a baby due to another condition I started getting bad side affects (moon face, body hair) And have always felt that this may have affected my endocrine system. Also I have a family history of thyroid disease my aunty has a overactive thyroid and also a growth on her thyroid gland and my grandmother suffered from an underactive thyroid. My gp says she's going to write to a endocrinologist for advice. If anyone has any advice or information about what may be going on or simular symptoms or what to say to the gp/ endocrinologist I would be very grateful. Thank you for reading this' kat
