Guest guest
Hi. My child is receiving the childrens waiver program, and we have a great worker, as so far the worker has gotten her first 2 paychecks (crossing all fingers and toes hoping not to jinx myself here). However, over the weekend I got a letter from the IRS informing that they recieved my form 2678, Employer Appointment Of Agent requesting for Northeast Pa Center for Independent Living As a fiscal agent to act on my behalf. If I have questions to contact them (which I have tried and it is impossible to get through). I called Aces$ today, and they said yes they are Northeast Pa Center for Independent Living. Then I asked them if all families using them are supposed to get this letter, and if this is just part of the process, and yep you guessed it they could not answer that question, and suggested I call the IRS. I'm not even sure what I would ask the IRS, and that is if I could even get through to them. Has anyone else who uses Aces$ gotten this letter? Is this normal, and just an acknowledement that they are assigneds to pay my worker,a nd withhold her taxes? Thanks, Diane S
