Palin has resources we will NEVER see to assist her with her child with

Down's.

She is NOT - I repeat NOT the typical parent of a child with a disability. Yes

she will face issues as we all do, however, she is already being investigated

for wrongdoing having to do with $$$ and I am sure as time goes on we will see

the truth of what this woman is about.

Republican...I am sorry do not care about disability issues...even if they have

them in thier family I see it as a nurse.... they have the money and clout to

get PRIVATE this and PRIVATE that... and many send their kids away (I know

several families in IL who sent thier CP/Downs dx childeren to be hidden away in

a a Wisconsin facility, or the other tony one in Vermont.

It will irk me to know end if she parades around this poor downs baby as a

political ploy...and if it is up to McCain who already know he had to get a

woman on the ticket quick...he prob. thinks he hit the lotto to get a woman with

a disabled child/toddler.

It makes me ill to see he went that low and thinks he can make bad public policy

look good by doing what he did.

Just venting. Thank you for your forbearance. I have struggled with money issues

too long to see this as any help to us.

I am sure that there are many current congressmen/women and representatives who

have themselves or have realtives who have disabilities. Just because someone in

the current spotlight has a disabled child of their own does not mean in any way

that they will make policies to help everyone across the nation. I am not

negative but I believe that 'our' voice is sometimes muted out in the political

arena.I have no impression in the short run that she will make a

difference.
