Update: Rep. Payee & Group homes

Went to the SSA office yesterday. We'll be getting a letter in about a

week or two from them re:overpayment. I tried calling the supervisor

over the group home yesterday after I left the office, (the guy from

SSA also called her & left her a voice mail.)

I was told by somebody that works there, that they usually set up

being a rep. payee. within a week of them moving in. The " Q " in that

home left 3 weeks after he moved in & nothing was done. So I told that

person that I had just done it & that I'd done his State ID change,

also.

It's so frustrating. I guess I was niave thinking we'd have a smooth

transition when left.

So now we sit in limbo for a couple more weeks; but at least the ball

is rolling.
