I don't usually send political stuff, but for some reason, this

really hacks me off. Maybe he's doing this so the next person will be

lenient on him??? I can't say what I REALLY think.

CHICAGO -- Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich is adding his voice to those

calling for freedom for convicted former Gov. .

has served a year of his 6 1/2-year sentence for corruption

charges. Blagojevich said Thursday that he'd like President Bush to

show compassion by letting him out of prison early.

If Bush did commute 's sentence, the former governor's conviction

would stand and he would still lose his state pension.

Also Thursday, former Gov. Jim thanked Sen. Dick Durbin for

backing the push for 's freedom. Earlier this week, Durbin said

he was considering asking Bush to commute 's sentence.

's wife, Lura Lynn , says her husband has faced life in

prison with a positive attitude, but jail has taken its toll on him.

I wouldn't object to letting " out " as long as we could put Blagojevich

" in " ...at least closed an institution (Lincoln) on his way to jail...

It is just all too annoying on a bright sunny post-over stuffed turkey day :)

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends.

Any good kid stories to share???
