Guest guest
I don't think there is an automatic draw for room and board...you would be writing a check to yourself or your husband from your son's SSI account to cover his room and board, at least that is how we do it... It shouldn't be any more complicated than any other checking account...especially if you have it set up for electronic access so that you can always check the account balance prior to writing any checks... The provided a booklet that outlines to the bank how the account should be established. I then have it set to provide a direct draw once a month into an account to pay his Room & Board. I only wish there was an email notification of the draw so I could remember to write it in the register.
