Actually, there are several words that end in " gry. " but they're archaic,

not the kind of words everyone would recognize (as specified in the riddle).

This riddle is rather like this one:

Q: Do you know how to spell [insert any long word here]?

A: Yes.

Q: How do you spell it?

A: [answering incorrectly, spells the long word] or [answering correctly]
