Guest guest
TIP 2) Laminating your picture flashcards will give them a much longer life. Instead of getting small individual laminating pouches, get letter-sized one, place 4 trimmed (with a space between pictures) into a pouch and run through the laminator. After running through the laminator, cut between the cards. Don't forget to round off the sharp corners that could easily injure someone. The laminating pouches I use are 120 microns or (sturdier) 150 microns in thickness. My personal preference is to use a standard 4 pictures per Letter-sized laminating pouch (usually sold in packs of a hundred). You could go for the larger sized pouches but it is hard to place many prints accurately in a larger pouch. You will always need good photo-quality pictures to teach speech and language. You can cut pictures from magazines or print some of the web. Flash! Pro2 is an excellent resource with over 8500 color photo images in 65 categories (listed below) all packed onto one CD-ROM that you can print from your PC (Windows 95, 98, 2000 or NT) to your color printer.
