Its just months old for most of us.There is a doctor in Mexico trting cancer patients with MMS ans other alternative medicines that Jim Humble mentioned in his bookI beleive it was in the introduction . I was just looking at it the other day. I started Budwig at a point when I had no active cancer and bloodwork was normal. Three months later I had metastasis throughout lymph system. I'm on the flaxoil2 list and see many people have cancer advance on Budwig. I think there is much to be looked into and considered there, as to why the diet isn't working for not a small number of people, but that isn't the nature of that discussion group. Budig is a hours of cards. Maybe, if every card is perfectly in place, the house stands. Maybe if we're sure we enough enough x,y and z to convert ALA to EPA ... and we're the right genetic body type ... etc etc. I still do the Budwig diet, and part of my plan is to keep trying to figure that out. But the other part is to move on! Right now I want to up the ante. My short list of possiblities includes: MMS DCA Cesium. Best and blessings! As far as I know Budwig didn't recommend raw dairy. (But I don't doubt it would be a good idea if available.) Some years before cancer I made kefir from raw milk. I did it for about 6 months. Quite labor intensive to make the trip to the farm for the milk and keep all my kefir strains going. I finally decided I didn't feel any different and gave up the project. Now I don't have a source of raw milk. I think there are so very many " cards " in that Budwig house of cards that have to be considered, one major one being having the right co-factors to turn ALA into EPA. Another may be simply that some genetic types can't convert ALA into EPA. The main factor that changed for me was summer becoming winter. I live in the Pacific NW. The lack of sun became overwhelming. I started St. 's Wort 3 weeks ago, which has interested effects in terms of increasing photosensitivity.
