I dont know for sure, but you only use 1/4 -1/2 teaspoon.there isnt alot of vitamin c in that. It may also make a difference that it is a natural form of vitamin c instead of a crystalized ascorbic acid. I think that Jim Humble now recommends citric acid as being best .
