Tahini has per 100 grams, which is way too much to eat: 3 1/2 oz

573 calories

18 gr protein

50 gr fat

23 gr carbs

975 mg calcium

4 mg copper

14.5 mg iron

351 mg magnesium

2.5 mg manganese

629 mg phosphorous

468 mg potassium

5.7 mg selenium

7.75 mg zinc

also has B vitamins, E and K

folate, fatty acids

and amino acids

from the USDA food nutrient database.

Divide by 7 for a half oz serving. about 1 T.

....i did that. interesting reading, appears sesame does lots of good things

including having to do with iron. but it's all confusing and i need a nap.

sesame isn't itself high in iron.
