Guest guest Posted December 4, 2007 Report Share Posted December 4, 2007 I've lost 2 inches in the waist. I had to buy a smaller pair of jeans yesterday. It's a victory, but I've still got a long way to go. My most recently purchased belt is now too big and I'm back to using the belts I had outgrown and saved. I have lost only a few pounds because of muscle toning. MMS has killed off enough of *whatever was eating me* that I have had more success than ever before at not eating refined carbs and being more satisfied with meat and vegetables. Before, my efforts at control of refined carbs were based on an understanding of their effect; it was willpower that kept me away from them. That worked well enough to keep me from gaining any more weight but not well enough to make me lose much. Now, I just don't have much thought of eating them and really find myself wanting only the foods that I really need. OK, my Bride made a a Deen Sweet Potato Gooey Butter Cake this weekend and I did indulge, but I didn't cram it down as fast as I could the way I used to. I even stopped eating it and nudged her to freeze the rest of it so I would forget about it. Let me assure you that no such cake ever made it to the freezer around here before. As others have reported, I have had a noticeable lessening of taste for beer and wine, and it's not like I was a lush to start with. Having had great success in the past at rebuilding badly damaged muscles with raw milk and whey protein powders, I've also long known that they were fattening. Raw fertilized egg yolks and beef liver liver powder are now taking the place of a lot of that for me, and they are not at all fattening. Daddybob No virus found in this outgoing message.
