Guest guest
Dale, I've been using organic golden flax seeds for years, buy them in bulk. They make a great egg replacer in pancakes, waffles, quick breads and cookies. I used them in my dog food, and in the muesli I make. I grind them in a coffee grinder and keep them in the fridge. We go through 10 cups in 2-3 weeks. I don't like the brown ones, they smell like paint. Linseed oil is flax oil, and a main ingredient in paint. The golden flax seed doesn't have that raunchy smell. I have found that, unless they are ground up before you eat them, they slip down the gullet whole and end up coming out the same way, whole. Not much nutrition in eating a seed whole. The oil is not a whole food, so I go for the whole food. Kathy
