Guest guest
I remember from my macrobiotic days that roasting salt makes it more yang, as in yin/yang. This is the salt that I primarily used to bring me back from the salt deficiency that nearly stopped my heart when I started MMS. It is very tasty and very healing. The roasting practice used by the Korean Toaist Monks is ancient. They hand harvest the sea salt, dry it in the sun, pack it into cylinders of a specific type of bamboo, close the ends with a particular type of clay, burn it very hot until there is nothing but salt, ash and clay left, gather up the salt, ashes and burnt clay, repack it all and do it all again, 3 times. As I understand it, the original recipe is to do this 9 times. That salt really is expensive, and I have the last of what he had a couple of months ago. The 9 times roasted salt can be tough to take, but the 3 times roasted is delicious. I think maybe " Seekverta " negotiated with the monks to offer the 3 times roasted to appeal to more palates. It's " good for you and helps you too " , for more reasons than I will go into here. Daddybob No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition. Guest guest
OH, so this is just white sea salt that is treated with bamboo and heat to make it turn pink and add minerals, phenols, yellow clay and pine resin. Real Salt is pink naturally and has trace elements naturally. $4 an ounce? Wow. It's getting up there with illegal drugs. Whatever floats your boat.... Organic chocolate floats my boat. Terra Nostra Dark chocolate truffle. Oh wow, I'm in heaven! And their dark dark chocolate, 87% cacao, makes a great mousse or cup of hot cocoa. Makes my endorphins sing.
