I think we have to be careful before blaming the mortality rates SOLELY on vaccinations. I'm not saying I think vaccinating is safe, *but* there are a lot of other factors. If we look at the 3 countries where the mortality rates are lowest (Japan, Norway, and Sweden), I think they are also countries where people are more inclined to breastfeed than in the USA, and I also know that in Norway at least, birth is less medicalized (fewer c-sections, etc.). I don't know about Sweden and Japan, but this can have repercussions on infant mortality too, so we can't say that the reason the USA has a higher mortality rate is ONLY because of vaccinating more. I wish we could divide it up better, and say , FE, that " 2 out of 11 deaths are due to vaccinating, 3 out of 11 due to not BF, 1 out of 11 due to medicalized childbirth, etc. " , but we can't, not easily.
